Foliome

Features

Every asset class. One balance.

A focused set of features that turn seven scattered spreadsheets into a single number, charted over time and pinged to your phone.

Seven asset classes, one place.

Each class is shown with its own accent color, so the breakdown reads at a glance — and each one knows the right way to track itself.

Crypto

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of tokens — searchable by name or ticker. Prices refresh continuously throughout the day.

Stocks

Single equities from US and major international exchanges (London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Paris, and more). Live quotes during market hours, last close after.

Precious metals

Gold, silver, platinum, palladium. Hold them in troy ounces, grams, or kilograms. Karat picker for jewelry-grade gold — 18k is valued at 18/24 of pure.

ETFs

Index, sector, and thematic funds — tracked as their own class so the breakdown stays honest about how diversified you actually are.

Funds

Mutual funds and managed products with a daily NAV — alongside everything else, in one balance.

Real estate

Self-valued holdings — your home, a rental, land. Update the valuation when you re-appraise. Never marked stale, since there's nothing to fetch.

Cash

Multi-currency balances — useful for tracking dollars or euros you're holding as an investment, or following an FX position you care about.

P&L that tells the truth.

Most trackers are casually wrong about returns. Foliome is built around getting the math right and being explicit when it can't.

Real cost basis when you have one

Log purchases and your P&L is the real thing — what the holding has done since you bought it, in your home currency, after FX conversion.

"Since added" when you don't

Skip the purchases and Foliome just shows how the asset has moved since you started tracking it — marked with a ~ so you can tell at a glance which kind of P&L you're looking at.

Time-weighted return on the chart

Chart percentages neutralize the assets you add or remove mid-window, so adding $5k to your portfolio doesn't masquerade as a 20% gain. The number reflects performance, not deposits.

Aggregates that respect size

Class and total percentages weight bigger holdings more heavily, the way they actually affect your wealth. A 50% gain on a $10 position doesn't drag your $10,000 number around.

The numbers, the alerts, none of the bloat.

Multi-currency P&L over time

Pick a home currency. Foliome converts every position with daily reference rates and charts the total over 7d, 30d, 90d, 1y, or all-time. P&L is always in the currency you actually think in.

Multiple portfolios for the way you actually think (Pro)

Separate retirement from trading, taxable from tax-sheltered, your portfolio from your partner's — under one login. Switch with one tap; everything on the home screen rescopes. The watchlist, currency, and plan stay account-wide.

Five kinds of alerts, none of them spammy

Price thresholds. Holding value. Holding P&L%. Asset-class total. Whole-portfolio total. Each can be one-shot or recurring with a cooldown — and every alert fires on a clean threshold crossing, not on every wiggle. Notifications land in Telegram.

Markets, separate from your portfolio

A curated Featured list across every asset class, plus a personal watchlist with no quantity, no value, just the price. Watchlists are unlimited on every plan and never count toward your asset limit.

Same account, two ways in

Use Foliome inside Telegram if that's where you live, or open the full web app for a bigger view. Link them with a 6-digit code and the same portfolio, watchlist, alerts, and currency follow you across both.

Reclassify when the technical class doesn't match the intent

Bought PAXG because you wanted gold exposure? Tap the ⇄ icon and it shows up under Precious Metals in your breakdown — without changing how it's priced. Your call, not the categorization's.

Stale and closed indicators

When a price hasn't refreshed in a while, the asset row shows a small clock. When a market is closed for the night, the badge says so. No guessing whether the number you're looking at is live.

Built for the phone in your hand

Most people check their portfolio on their phone, so that's where Foliome was designed to feel right first — pull-to-refresh, edge-to-edge layouts, and tap targets sized for thumbs. The desktop view is the same product, just more room.

What Foliome doesn't try to be.

Each of these is a deliberate scope choice. We'd rather have a clear gap than a fuzzy feature.

No live trading or broker connections

Foliome is read-only. You enter what you hold; we track the value. Nothing connects to Coinbase, Schwab, or anywhere else.

No broker import

Adding assets is manual. For a handful of holdings that's a 10-minute setup. For hundreds of trades across many platforms, a dedicated aggregator is a better fit.

No dividends, interest, or staking yield

Income from holdings isn't tracked. If a payout increases your quantity, update the quantity yourself.

No tax lots or realized P&L

Cost basis is total cost ÷ quantity — useful for an honest "am I up?" but not for tax filing. Export your data and pair it with a dedicated tax tool.

No liabilities

We track what you own, not what you owe. Real-estate values are tracked, but the mortgage isn't — totals are gross asset value, not net worth.

Not a budgeting app

No spending, no categorization, no month-to-month cash flow. Cash holdings are for investment-grade positions, not your checking account.
